However, the new feature, Apple Intelligence, will not be ready by launch. Instead, it will be available in October via an iOS 18.1 update. This approach differs from 2011 when Apple delayed the iPhone 4S to ensure Siri and iCloud were ready. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to start at $1,199, similar to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
