NASA and Boeing postponed the first crewed launch of the Starliner spacecraft, set for Saturday, due to a ground support equipment issue.
Scheduled to lift off from Cape Canaveral with astronauts Barry "Butch" Wilmore and Sunita Williams, the launch was halted just minutes before liftoff.
This marks another setback for Boeing, which has faced delays and budget overruns with the Starliner program. An earlier launch attempt in May was also called off due to technical issues. NASA emphasized the importance of having a second spacecraft option alongside SpaceX’s Crew Dragon. A new launch date is yet to be confirmed.
