The feature, initially launched in the U.K. and Australia, allows users to personalize playlists with AI-generated song selections, which can be further refined with text prompts.
Spotify aims to attract more subscribers by incorporating artificial intelligence into its offerings, competing with services from Apple and Amazon. The company's other AI-based tools, like "daylist" and "AI DJ," have also contributed to its growing subscriber base, which saw a 12% increase in the second quarter.
